We’ll keep you posted here about upcoming gigs, band news, and anything of interest to the local bluegrass fan. We’ll also be adding to the site in the coming months – great links, more pictures and videos, and a guestbook to sign up for our e-mailing list. Thanks for stopping by.
We have been having a great time playing our regular gigs at Phil’s Fish Market and Sam’s BBQ. We are pleased that the regular crowd at Sam’s has gotten quite a bit bigger over the last few years ! Thanks to all our buddies from over the hill who come to see us!
We’d love for you to check out our CDs! We have two for you to listen to, and they are in stores everywhere. Well, actually you might need to order one from us if you want one. We have them with us at all of our gigs, so that is another way to get a hold of them! Dirty Water and Nightbird are ready and waiting for a spot on your CD shelf!!
Hopefully we will be getting back into the studio before the end of 2015 to record some more, including some of Billy’s originals!
Sam of Sam’s BBQ was kind enough to take a video of us playing 1952 Vincent Black Lightning, which he put on Youtube. Check it out.….thanks, Sam!! Sam also included us in his spot on a local tv show. Take a peek.…
Did you hear the big news? Billy was crowned Best Male Vocalist, again, this year(does this make 6 times?-as far as we can remember, yes!) We are quite pleased with that!! A big congrats to the Tuttles with all of their awards, best band and individual awards as well! Well deserved, indeed!
We had a great time at the 2015 CBA’s Father’s Day Festival in Grass Valley!! We had a great set on the Vern’s Stage on Saturday and really enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces around the fairgrounds! Always a really fun festival!
If you haven’t already, please check out some of our videos on youtube. Some were taken at the 2008 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival by Nancy Zuniga. She actually put many on there of the great acts we were all lucky to see at the festival. Billy rocks on Will You Be Lonesome and belts it out with feeling on Faded Rose. Let us know what you think!! Much appreciation to Nancy for documenting so much of the festival !!
Nancy also uploaded a video she had taken of “Can You Hear Me Now” from the 2009 FDF in Grass Valley where we played on the Vern’s Stage.
Bean Creek played the Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, July 2003, in Hollister, CA – big fun! Tom Tworek was kind enough to take some great stage shots of us – check ‘em out…
Where can you see us?
Well, we play at Phil’s Fish Market in Moss Landing every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. Phil’s is a great place to hear music and get a mighty fine fish dinner.
